Random Thoughts

I know that people say that all the time, but do they really believe it? I sit and wonder just how many so called Christian just say what they think people want to hear. I know people that act like a God fearing person on the weekend but be some helluns during the week. Let me just tell you that God has been good to us and he has provided for us when we thought there was no way out.
I really wish that more people would trust what God has told them and live each and every moment

Okay, so I know I say this a lot, but I can’t get my mind to shut down sometimes. Saturday night is the worst night of them all because I am so pumped up about OLC and what God is doing there. I am thankful to be able so see it first hand! A few years ago, it is sad to say but I could have cared less what you said about church or going to church. God is mighty and forgiving, I know this first hand. He took me off the path I was leading about humbled me. I didn’t fault him for what happend, but started talking to him on a regular basis and then he led me to Oak Leaf the Sunday after opening weekend. I have been sold out to the vision every since that day. I get excited when it is time to serve on the weekends, and I talk about what God is doing at OLC to anyone that will listen. Right now it is almost 12:30am and I am ready to go !!!!! My prayer is that my passion for God and His church is contagious and that the excitement I feel will rub off on those around me. I am not saying that I do no wrong, but I can say that I am not living like I used too.

If you were not at Oak Leaf this weekend, then you can kind of get a picture of the Heart of OLC by watching the video here or reading the post here. Michael challenged the people of OLC to give the shoes off their feet to Soles4Souls . It was an incredible sight to see 90% of the people in attendance leaving barefooted, including their children.

So if you know me, then you know I am a Twitter JUNKIE !!! Twitter is like my crack !! HAHA ! I know it is sad but that’s just how things are. There are quite a few of us that will call each other by their Twitter name and ever put the @ in front of it. Okay, enough of that. Am I the only person that feels like that know someone, even if you haven’t met them except online? I have a good friends that are also on Twitter, and I have met some of the people that I talk to via Twitter, in person, but there are some that I have never met that I feel like I have known forever because of this social media miracle. What are your thoughts on Social Media Networking?

So I have been having some dreams lately that have been the same, over and over and over. It all involves church services. I have been praying long and hard about it, and every time I get the same response……. Go hang out at Oak Leaf. I don’t know what else I am suppose to be doing at Oak Leaf, but I just keep going and staying (usually long after everyone else has gone home) and praying. I have no idea what God wants me to do, but I will just keep doing what I have been and continue to pray for answers. I know that God will not lead me down the wrong path, so join me on this journey and let’s see what He has in store for my life.
